Winter Snowflake Adventure – Maryling FW 24/25

Inspired by a memory of skiing among the snow-capped peaks of Madonna di Campiglio, MARYLING’s Fall/Winter 24/25 “Winter Snowflake Adventure” collection embodies an elegant, comfortable, modern, and colorful aesthetic. It charmingly reimagines the evolution of winter sports, presenting an increasingly recognizable, iconic, and luxuriously functional style that seamlessly interacts with fashion.

Various elements of the collection capture the winter atmosphere, with the classic handmade Christmas sweater serving as its central piece. Skillful color blocking and traditional knitted motifs give a fresh reinterpretation to this timeless garment. All silhouettes in the collection are reimagined forms of sportswear, elevated by luxurious and elegant craftsmanship that effortlessly transitions snow fashion into urban settings.

MARYLING draws inspiration from an array of artistic elements, including snow art patterns by Simon Beck, the land artist famous for his works on fresh snow; the intricate snowflake photography of Wilson A. Bentley, and the architectural mirages created by American artist Doug Aitken with mirrors.

Chiffon dresses depict mountain landscapes and postcard views in shades of pink, white, and indigo blue, complementing the character of down jackets, fine mountain outerwear, down bags, and quilted scarves.

The collection also features knitwear, with Jacquard patterns and luxurious yarns combined with classic MARYLING textures. Long coats in wool, cashmere, and mohair, as well as capes and tailored outerwear, come in light beige, sand, chocolate, and ruddy shades.

Neoprene pieces embrace psychedelic tones, while monochromatic clothing retains the comfort of sportswear while infusing vibrant hues that contrast against the snowscape.
