Hoteles City Express es reconocido durante el Tianguis Digital 2020 (a poco ya se han realizado 44 ediciones de este Tianguis) en el cierre de la 45 edición del Tianguis Turístico México

Hoteles City Express, the hotel chain with the greatest coverage in Mexico, participated in the 45th edition of the Tianguis Turístico, held for the first time in a fully digital format, from September 23 to 24, 2020. He held 75 business meetings, in which buyers and developers recognized that his service is focused on the "smart traveler" by having practical hotels, privileged locations and a large number of properties.

64% of the appointments were made with national actors, while 36% corresponded to meetings with international representatives. The meetings with Mexican wholesale agencies and other countries such as Canada, the United States, Colombia, Guatemala, Ecuador, Peru and Cuba, as well as with providers of digital platforms and products, associations and government actors with whom specific commercial and marketing strategies were exchanged, for the last quarter of the year and the beginning of 2021, stood out.

"The adaptability of the event is further evidence of sectoral resilience. It was an interesting space that launched new formats and led to a transnational forum that is undoubtedly key to finding and taking advantage of opportunities for reactivation. For Hoteles City Express it is important to use this type of space to share our sustainable and innovative vision that, we are convinced, is key to tourism recovery," said Danaé Zamora, Commercial Director of Hoteles City Express.

During the event, the hotel chain presented the City Expressions platform, its latest launch focused on leisure tourism, which offers its complementary guests trips with experiences and activities in a simple way. He emphasized that with this new product he brings together experiences aligned with the principle of sustainability of the chain, as it aims to promote local consumption, forming a value chain that positively impacts commerce and the tourism industry of the states.

In addition, he spoke of the City Express Groups platform, a tool designed for groups of travelers looking for a simple, safe and personalized planning experience. This service available in the 153 hotels of the chain located in 30 states of the Mexican Republic, Colombia, Chile and Costa Rica, allows travelers to easily quote, manage and book the rooms of their group without the need for an intermediary agency.

The company, inspired by its slogan: "Everything that matters", also addressed the progress made in reference to the adaptability of its services to meet the needs of medical tourism, as well as its commitment to the City Premios program, which guarantees benefits through allied brands and special rates to guests from their first reservation.

Hoteles City Express received positive comments regarding the attributes of its tourist offer. The City Centro brand, which stands out for being in buildings of historical value, old or of great tradition, aimed at travelers who seek to live the experience from the heart of the destinations, as well as the introduction of the City Expressions platform, were the topics that most aroused interest at the time of their interaction with the different sectoral actors.

The Digital Tourism Tianguis Mexico 2020 was attended by companies from the 32 states of the Republic, more than 220 exhibitors and around 1,720 buyers from more than 40 countries.
