On the occasion of Milan Fashion Week, Fratelli Rossetti presented its collection \u201cShoe talks\u201d,<\/strong> inspired by one of the most characteristic elements of Italian culture: active gestures during the conversation. The lively, typically Italian gestures described by Bruno Munari in the Dictionary of Italian Gestures, which highlight the most emblematic elements of Neapolitan culture, were decided to be transferred to the feet, developing eight stories describing its unspoken language – the kiss, the walk, the dance, the wait, the gentleman, the goodbye, the indecision, and the thought.<\/em> During the presentation, the story about each model was accompanied by a short video shot by the famous photographer Giovanni Gastel.<\/p>\n

In conjunction with the brand’s recent 70th anniversary, “Shoe Talks” was born as an anthem to “Made in Italy”, a value deeply rooted in the brand’s DNA, which is also reflected in the choice of venue for the event: a prestigious boutique at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, in the heart of Milan. In the fall-winter 2024\/25 collection, the most famous gestures are represented by unique symbols that have become part of Fratelli Rossetti’s history.<\/p>\n\n

The brand’s iconic Brera tassel moccasin interprets the kiss<\/em>\u00a0and comes in a Tartan version, available for both him and her, characterized by a laser treatment that gives the shoe a special \u201cchecked\u201d effect. The final design, inspired by typical Scottish fabric, is created using perforations combined with different stitching lines.<\/p>\n
