Es por eso que, por primera vez, la premiaci\u00f3n de los <strong>Latin America\u2019s 50 Finest Eating places 2020<\/strong>, se llevaron a cabo de manera completamente <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eluniversal.com.mx\/menu\/latin-americas-50-best-restaurants-2020-se-realizara-de-manera-virtual\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color:#544bb5;\"><u>virtual.<\/u><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Como ya es costumbre, M\u00e9xico figur\u00f3 como una potencia gastron\u00f3mica en Latinoam\u00e9rica y se colocaron 9 restaurantes mexicanos en el listado.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de las posiciones en el listado, otras menciones importantes para M\u00e9xico fueron el premio <strong>Miele One to Watch Award<\/strong>, el cual reconoci\u00f3 el trabajo de los <strong>cooks David Castro Hussong y Maribel Aldaco Silva<\/strong>, propietarios del restaurante Fauna, en el Valle de Guadalupe. As\u00ed como el premio <strong>\u00a0Latin America&#8217;s Finest Pastry Chef 2020<\/strong>, otorgado a la chef repostera <strong>Sof\u00eda Cortina<\/strong>, socia de La Vitrine. Por \u00faltimo, el mejor restaurante de M\u00e9xico, Pujol, tambi\u00e9n fue merecedor del premio<strong>\u00a0Flor de Ca\u00f1a Sustainable Restaurant Award.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color:#544bb5;\">36.
