ingl\u00e9s), recomend\u00f3 a los pa\u00edses de Latinoam\u00e9rica explorar la viabilidad de implementar un <strong>Certificado Digital de COVID-19<\/strong> para viajeros, con informaci\u00f3n del estado de salud y el management de vacunas antivirales de los turistas en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>En un comunicado, la Vicepresidenta Senior del WTTC, Virginia Messina, detall\u00f3 que \u201cel Certificado Digital permitir\u00eda facilitar los viajes y el turismo, al agilizar los controles de entrada y salida de los aeropuertos, en alineaci\u00f3n con los est\u00e1ndares establecidos por la <strong>Asociaci\u00f3n de Transporte A\u00e9reo (IATA)<\/strong>, sobre esquemas de vacunaci\u00f3n, realizaci\u00f3n de pruebas y seguimiento de viajeros que ya tuvieron la enfermedad\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Asegur\u00f3 que la regi\u00f3n de Latinoam\u00e9rica muestra una recuperaci\u00f3n del sector tur\u00edstico, y entre los meses de junio y agosto de este a\u00f1o prev\u00e9 alcanzar un flujo de pasajeros internacionales equivalente al 80 por ciento de los niveles reportados en el mismo periodo de 2019.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone 900px) 100vw, 900px\"\/><\/noscript><\/p>\n<p>Messina refiri\u00f3 que las acciones emprendidas en la Uni\u00f3n Europea, con la emisi\u00f3n del Certificado Digital COVID, representan un ejemplo para impulsar el retorno de los viajes internacionales seguros, ayudar a recuperar puestos de trabajo y reactivar un sector que ser\u00e1 elementary para la econom\u00eda en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEl WTTC conf\u00eda en que el Certificado Digital COVID-19 de la Uni\u00f3n Europea contribuir\u00e1 a generar confianza entre los consumidores del sector de viajes y turismo, que ha estado en una lucha por la supervivencia durante m\u00e1s de un a\u00f1o\u201d, indic\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>El impacto devastador de la pandemia de COVID-19 en el sector mundial de viajes y turismo ha eliminado millones de empleos y ha visto caer su contribuci\u00f3n al Producto Interno Bruto (PIB).<\/p>\n<p>El comunicado a\u00f1adi\u00f3 que la vida de millones de personas que dependen del sector tambi\u00e9n ha sido afectada por la pandemia, causando estr\u00e9s y preocupaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El WTTC espera que la emisi\u00f3n de Certificados Digitales COVID-19 desempe\u00f1e un papel importante en la reapertura segura de un sector que ser\u00e1 cr\u00edtico para salvar empleos, medios de vida y econom\u00edas en todo el mundo.<strong>
