There\u2019s always a sense of rebellion and tenderness intertwined in a Simon Cracker<\/strong> show \u2014 and this season, that spirit feels more personal than ever. Presenting \u201cPunkindness Forever\u201d<\/em> during his first Milan Women\u2019s Fashion Week as a solo designer, Simon Cracker<\/strong> transforms vulnerability, friendship, and memory into his most intimate capsule yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis collection is a thank you,\u201d Cracker explains, \u201cto my crew \u2014 the guys and girls who support us every time, not just physically but with their energy.\u201d After five years as part of a creative duo, this marks a new beginning for the designer. \u201cAll experiences, good or bad, come to an end,\u201d he adds, \u201cbut they open new doors. What matters is sharing creativity with the world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The runway felt like a reunion of sorts \u2014 a gathering of real people rather than models, each member of the Cracker family<\/strong> contributing their individuality. \u201cThey might look like street-cast models,\u201d Simon smiles, \u201cbut they\u2019re part of us \u2014 different people, with opposite lives, coming together for one shared moment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That sense of unity translates into clothing that feels alive with history. Recycled fabrics, vintage school uniforms torn and reassembled, prints inspired by the 100-lire coins Simon once found in his grandfather\u2019s jacket pockets. \u201cAt 13, I wanted to dress like a grown-up,\u201d he recalls, \u201cand those coins became part of my story. Now they\u2019re part of our prints.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The silhouettes merge contrasts: feminine, crumpled silks meet oversized tailored jackets; terracotta tones bleed into trails of washed color; geometric checks replace traditional tartan in deep navy hues. Salem, the black cat \u2014 now a recurring symbol \u2014 prowls across shirts and Mary Janes in collaboration with Dr. Martens<\/strong>, becoming the brand\u2019s mischievous mascot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But beyond clothes, \u201cPunkindness Forever\u201d<\/em> feels like a statement of purpose. \u201cWe go back to speaking through clothes,\u201d Simon says. \u201cWe stop shouting. We use the wardrobe to carry our manifestos.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
