A Celebration of Imperfection and the Beauty of Contradiction
Maison Jejia presents its Spring/Summer 2026 collection—an ode to imperfection and an assertion of aesthetic freedom. Inspired by the irreverent spirit of Edie Sedgwick, the collection channels a form of femininity that turns fragility and rebellion into beauty.
Designed by Anna Maria Marino, the collection explores imperfection as a deliberate choice—a visual language that dismantles convention and redefines harmony through imbalance. The result is a wardrobe that feels intimate and instinctive, a reflection of individuality expressed through play, contrast, and spontaneity.
Unexpected pairings dominate the lineup: prints that shouldn’t coexist find a surprising rhythm together, while light, fluid fabrics are juxtaposed with structured materials. Lingerie-inspired pieces step confidently into daylight, blurring boundaries between private and public, while eveningwear appears with ironic ease in daytime looks. The recurring presence of absolute black acts as a manifesto of identity—bold, radical, and self-assured.

The show unfolds like a Milanese breakfast scene, inhabited by women who could have been companions of Sedgwick: confident, ironic, and delightfully unpredictable. They embrace imperfection as a luxury, mixing roles and moods with ease. Each look tells a story—layered silhouettes, mismatched prints, and intentionally “off-key” details that turn flaws into signatures.
Through this collection, Maison Jejia captures a sense of authentic femininity—contradictory yet coherent, never rigid, and deeply human. True elegance, here, is found in irregularity.
With Spring/Summer 2026, Anna Maria Marino continues her exploration of a liberated elegance: playful, ironic, and full of character. Maison Jejia invites women to rediscover beauty in spontaneity, strength in imperfection, and freedom in authenticity.
